The Nissan Maxima is the longest continuous running Nissan nameplate in the U.S. going back 40 years. That’s why the 2021 Maxima is receiving a 40th Anniversary Edition when it goes on sale in the fall.

This edition adds on to the fully equipped Maxima Platinum grade with unique features like a two-tone Ruby Slate Gray Pearl exterior color and 19-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels. Black exterior finishers and trim badges, Black exhaust finishers round out the exterior design of this edition.

Inside, the Maxima 40th Anniversary Edition gets red semi-aniline leather-appointed seating with 40th Anniversary embossing and Red contrast interior stitching. As a little throwback, this edition includes White speedometer and tachometer faces.

The Maxima has had no issue receiving more and more awards as the flagship of Nissan’s sedan lineup. Maxima was just named the top vehicle in the Large Car segment of J.D. Power Initial Quality Study in June and in July, it topped the J.D. Power APEAL Study Large Car category for three years in a row. It even received a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS for the fifth straight year.

The awards prove how much quality work goes into the Maxima and is being celebrated with the 40th Anniversary Edition this fall, offered in SV, SR and Platinum grade levels. Ask about it at Bill Seidle’s Nissan
