For movie lovers, the 21st Annual American Black Film Festival is the perfect event to check out. From June 13th to the 18th, various theaters in Miami Beach will be participating in the ABFF, premiering film genres ranging from indie to big studio, as well as hosting master classes and panel discussions.
If music and art are more your style, try the Overtown Music and Arts Festival on July 15th in the Overtown Business District. This popular festival will feature big-name artists like CeeLo Green while also highlighting performers of Latin jazz and Afro Caribbean rhythms, reggae, and more.
Maybe you’re not an arts enthusiast and you’re just in it for the food. We get that, which is why the last event on our list is the Wheelin’ Dealin’ Food Truck Festival at Magic City Casino. 20 of the best food trucks in the area host a wide range of food options the third Saturday of every month.
